Studio Participant Information

Everything you need to know about joining a class at The Den Yoga Studio

IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING ANY SYMPTOMS OF ILLNESS, COVID-19 OR OTHERWISE, THEN YOU MUST NOT ATTEND YOUR BOOKED CLASS AT THE STUDIO

BOOKINGS

  • All classes MUST be booked and paid for in advance – no drop-ins. All payments must be online or contactless. Online bookings for studio classes open 1 month in advance:

  • To allow for appropriate distancing, there will be reduced capacity in all classes, so please book early to avoid disappointment!

PRICES & PASSES

  • Each hour-long studio class is £7. (UNWIND is £5, CONNECT £10)

  • There is a range of multibuy options to choose from for both online and studio classes.

CANCELLATION

  • Any payments or pass allocations are non-refundable, but if you need to change your booking then you are able to MOVE it to another slot with more than 24 hours’ notice – please use the MOVE function within the Manage Your Booking link in your confirmation email.

  • If there is less than 24 hours until your class, you aren’t able to move your class. Please CANCEL your booking so that someone else can make use of the space.

  • PLEASE NOTE – with reduced capacity, please be considerate and either CANCEL or MOVE your booking as soon as possible so that valuable spaces within classes are not wasted.

EQUIPMENT & BELONGINGS

  • Please bring your own mat if possible.

  • All studio equipment will be sanitised after every use.

  • Please bring the minimum you need for your class – arrive “ready to practise”!

  • Any items you must bring which are not required for practice (including bags, phones etc) must be left outside the studio on the shelves/hooks provided.

  • Please try to avoid bringing valuable items to the studio but if you wish to place small items in the lockable cabinet, they must be placed in a small plastic bag first (provided). I will lock the cabinet before class begins, and unlock at the end.

  • Please ensure that phones are turned OFF, and not simply on silent

  • No responsibility can be accepted by The Den, The Bridgeman Centre or their management for any loss or damage to items while on the premises.

  • In line with current guidance, windows will be kept open throughout each class, so please wear light layers. Bare feet are still best, but if you prefer you may wear yoga socks.

ARRIVAL

  • Doors will only open 15 minutes before each class.

  • Please arrive promptly for your class, allowing plenty of time to pay for parking if appropriate.

  • LATE ARRIVAL: I will join you upstairs 5 minutes before your class, and if the clinic is closed then the front door will be closed at this time. Arrival after this time may result in you not being able to get in!

  • Unless exempt, face coverings are preferred as you move through the building, and until you are settled on your mat.

  • Please use the hand sanitiser provided as you enter the building.

  • As you go up to the studio, please be mindful of distance on the stairs and landing.

THE STUDIO

  • Please use the hand sanitiser provided again before entering the studio.

  • As you enter the studio, please make your way to the next available mat-space, furthest away from the door – no picking your favourite spot please!

  • Mat-spaces are designated by markings on the floor. Please place the FRONT RIGHT corner of your mat into the marking.

  • Once your mat is placed, this is your space. Please avoid moving around the studio.

TOILET FACILITIES

  • For now toilet facilities within the building are limited, with the bathroom on the first floor reserved for staff only.

  • If desperate, you may use the toilet on the ground floor, towards the back of the building, but please clean thoroughly before and after use using the products supplied.

THE END OF THE CLASS

  • At the end of the class, please stay on your mat until the teacher leaves, and then leave one at a time, nearest the door first.

  • Please use hand sanitiser again as you leave.

  • Again, please be mindful of distance on the landing, and as you go down the stairs.

  • If you have any questions, then please feel free to catch up with me downstairs!

CATCH IT BIN IT KILL IT

  • There are plenty of tissues and bins at the studio. Please catch all coughs and sneezes in a tissue, take with you and dispose as appropriate!

LOST PROPERTY

  • Please take extra care to take all belongings (including empty water bottles!) home with you at the end of the class!

  • Anything left behind will be bagged up and stored, but you will only be able to collect it at your next booked class.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION

  • The studio and landing area will be deep cleaned every day, and between classes as appropriate. To allow time for this there will be at least 30 minutes between classes.

HEALTH FORM UPDATE

  • I will be taking this opportunity to ensure that I have up-to-date health information for all students.

  • As you book on to your first class back at the studio, you will be sent an email inviting you to complete an online version of the Student Health Questionnaire. Please complete and submit as soon as possible!

  • All details about data storage and use will be included on the form.
