Studio Classes
COVID-19 UPDATE November 5th 2020
Unfortunately with the latest Government regulations coming into force today, the studio is now CLOSED until the beginning of December.
You can still join me online in a variety of ways, finding your yoga practice from the comfort and safety of your own home - find out more about live-streamed and pre-recorded classes.
You can join me at the studio for a variety of classes: class descriptions are below and the current timetable can be seen here.
All classes are £7 and must be booked online, with booking opening a month in advance. Or there are a range of class passes for you to buy to give you great value for money!
You will need to have your own equipment for now.
Please read the Studio Participant Information before booking!
Let's Begin
A class designed for absolute beginners, helping them to find their feet - literally! This class will teach you the basic postures and the common cues, and hopefully give you the confidence to eventually join other classes. Each class will combine static poses with gentle flow and breathwork, and end with a deep guided relaxation.
Move
Suitable for all ages and abilities with plenty of options to make it as gentle or challenging as you need. Move is also the ideal class for beginners or a place to make your way back to the mat after a break.
In this Hatha based class, we will combine static poses with breathwork and just a little flow, designed to improve posture, strength and mobility. And we will end with a deep, guided relaxation.
A chance to stretch, feel strong, breathe, relax.
Flow
Slightly stronger and with more movement than Move, but still suitable for all abilities, Flow classes are built around flowing sequences of postures. We will consider the breath as we move, and take some time to consider appropriate options and modifications, working towards increasing strength and flexibility. And as with all classes we will end with a deep, guided relaxation.
Meditate
Beginning with some gentle stretches and movement to ease our way towards physical stillness, and then taking you through guided meditations to bring a mental stillness too. No previous experience required.
Kids & Families
With the emphasis on fun, in our Family Yoga sessions and Kids' Yoga Workshops we will explore different aspects of a yoga practice and each class will include some physical movement, breathwork, mindfulness and relaxation.

The most general class on the timetable, suitable for all ages and abilities with plenty of options to make it as gentle or challenging as you need. Elements - returning soon
Taking some inspiration from an Iyengar based practice, this is a slightly stronger class, with the emphasis on the detail. We will focus on static postures, on the alignment and integrity of each pose, to build strength, stamina and flexibility. As with all classes, we will take time to consider modifications to make each practice personal, and we will still take time to work with the breath. And then there is the relaxation at the end...
Restore (online, via Yoga-to-Go)
A gentle class, designed for those living with chronic conditions, in particular CFS/ME. A no pressure environment to gently stretch and unwind, with a supported, guided relaxation. A chance to rebalance, restore energy. This class is online, so you can enjoy as much or as little of the practice as you wish from the comfort of your own home, even the warmth of your bed if you wish. The class is monthly, and includes a recording of the session to enjoy in your own time over the following month, perhaps at a time that suits you better, or perhaps simply repeating the practice to find a sense of familiarity, a sense of comfort, a sense of ease.
Now available via Yoga-to-Go, the library of pre-recorded classes
Yin
A slow practice, yin yoga has its roots in Chinese medicine, with longer held, supported, passive postures requiring you to surrender and soften to create a stretch that works deep into the connective tissue.
With a deeply meditative quality, yin allows both body and mind to let go.
First Friday of the month 7:30pm
Meditate

With gentle movement, and guided meditations, a chance to really switch off to everything else. To pause and reset. To find deep rest. To come back to you.

Qigong

Using breathwork and meditation to bring you a sense of inner peace and contentment.
Third Saturday of the month 10:15am
Sleep - coming soon
Either a day-long workshop, or a 5-week course following the Sleep Recovery™ programme to give you specific, effective actions and tools to repair your sleep, moving from sleeplessness to waking up happy. With a mixture of practice and theory, over the five weeks we explore ways to support sleep and manage energy levels using a holistic approach – body, breath, mind, emotions, soul. While the Sleep Recovery programme has its roots in yoga, no previous yoga experience is necessary and all practices are completely accessible.
Kids & Families
With the emphasis on fun, in our Family Yoga sessions and Kids' Yoga Workshops we will explore different aspects of a yoga practice and each class will include some physical movement, breathwork, mindfulness and relaxation.
